SWE CPD courses and requirements
Social workers in England record their CPD online every registration year as part of renewal. The registration year runs from 1 December to 30 November, and a random sample of CPD records is reviewed by independent assessors.
What the SWE expects
- At least two different pieces of CPD each registration year
- At least one piece of CPD must include a peer reflection
- Renewal, including your CPD, is open from 1 September to 30 November
- A random sample of CPD records is reviewed each year
