GOC CPD courses and requirements
Optometrists and dispensing opticians complete CPD over a three-year cycle, recorded in MyCPD. The current cycle runs from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2027.
What the GOC expects
- At least 36 CPD points across the cycle, 18 of them interactive
- At least one point in each of the four core domains
- At least one peer review event
- A personal development plan and a reflective exercise with a peer
